Opportunities for Children and Youth
Below are some of the ministry opportunities that we are currently offering for children and youth in and through our work together as a congregation!
Adventure Club
Kids P-6, Wednesdays at 6:15 - 7:30
A free program for kids in Primary through grade 6, Wednesdays from 6:15 - 7:30 (mid-Sept - mid-May). Held in the gym and Christian Education Centre, in the heart of downtown Kentville on the corner of Webster and Main Streets (503 Main St.)
At AC, kids enjoy snacks, games and activities, theme parties, music, and bible stories. We also have special events, field trips (we've gone to places like the fire station, police station or Kentville Arena for skating), and hands on projects to help others (such as our annual pumpkin sale in support of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, our bottle drive in support of bringing refugee family to Kentville, a community garbage clean up challenge, and other mission project challenges!), all ways AC makes a difference in our community.
Cancellation Policy Note: In the event of stormy weather, we try to send a cancellation email to the registered families. As well, watch for cancellation notice on CBC, AVR, local radio, etc.

Kids for Christ
Kids for Christ - grades P - 6, Fridays 6:30 - 7:30 pm, mid September - End May. Kids have an opportunity to work together on presenting children's musicals throughout the year, while learning and sharing their love for God through music. (note: this ministry is currently on pause)
Grades 7-12
Youth Group
Spotlight Youth Group - open to youth Grades 7 - 12. Currently meeting on Friday evenings (approx once a month). Offers fun, friendship, food and opportunities for faith formation and discussion in a safe, welcoming, encouraging environment for any who wish to attend. Offered Sunday mornings during our morning worship. Currently offering three classes: Little Church (age 3 to grade primary), grade 1-3, grade 4-6+.

Vacation Bible School
Kids ages P-6
(usually the first full week in July)
Vacation Bible School - offered for kids going into grades primary through grade 6. Held for a week (Mon-Fri) in the summer, normally the first full week in July. An amazing week that includes games and recreation, snacks, crafts, music, Bible lessons, mission project, and group activities! A popular, fun week for kids in our area! A great way for kids to engage with the Bible on phone, tablet or other device!
